2009 was a year of changes, connections and lost connections with friends near and far, new jobs and new experiences, move-ins and move-outs, the realization of on-going love, and most of all missing certain cities so much and missing the creativity and inspiration they once filled you with. Here's a look back at the great things in 2009 (some 07/08) that brought me huge inspirations, and hoping that this post and the resurfacing of certain things will open the flood gates of inspiration.

As the days pass, I'll be posting photos and tid-bits or stories of everything and anything that brings me any kind of inspiration. What inspires you?

I'm not the biggest fan of the cold...or the snow, but one thing that makes this season tolerable are the fashions! Coats, scarves, gloves and booooots! L.Meester really embraces the season and looks effortlessly chic. This is one of my favorite outfits of the season so far. Now, excuse me while I go out on the hunt for a grey coat and nude ankle boots. Ciao!

So, I was browsing one of my favorite livejournal communities, newestwrinkle, and I came across this lovely young lady! I love how she pieced her outfits together.

I wasn't 100% sure on the knee socks. A few days later I've made up my mind...I'm completely in love with them! I will definitely be rocking the knee highs this fall/winter. SJP filming Sex in the City! I can't wait to see more of these "Carrie" outfits!!! I don't really know what to think of the knee socks, but would I be totally crazy if I said I was starting to love them? haha

What do you think of Ashley's wardrobe choices today? I have to say, that I've seen her in those heels quite a bit lately and I am crazy in love with them! But as much as I LOVE her footwear, I'm going to have to say that I hate that coat...!

The Olsen Twins + The Row

Paper Magazine had a chance to meet with MK and Ashley to checkout their new designs for their clothing line, The Row.

Here's what they had to say about their meeting:

"Meanwhile up at the St. Regis Hotel, the Olsens were channeling their internationally celebrated bohemian style into the Row, a startlingly chic and flawlessly constructed collection. It’s all about black and white basics with a splash of green and we cannot believe how immaculate the clothes were. Perfectly sexy little T-back T-shirts with French seams (one seam down the back so no sideseams), slip on stretch leather pants and jodphurs, Alaia-like dresses that cling and somehow flatter different shapes. Seeing the girls decked out in their own line (and in their own unique style, very different from one another) really made the clothes come to life. Why aren’t we sexy young girls so we can wear these clothes!!!"








Good thing we ARE sexy young girls, who can wear these clothes, haha! What do you think of these pieces? I would totally rock the green dress....maybe the white jacket. What about you?
