The Look is a pop/rock band from Seattle, WA. The band's members include Andrea Valdez on lead vocals, Abdon Valdez on drums, Eric Freistadt on boards/guitar and Nick Lawrence on boards/guitar. Since their start in 2004, they have won over fans with songs like, "This Is How We Shake", "We Are Electric" and my personal favorite "Lose Control." They have played a countless numbers of shows throughout the Northwest and have done some stints at the Vans Warped tour, an appearance at the Bamboozle Music Festival in New Jersey, and the Virgin Music festival in Canada! They are set to start recording this September and a full-length album will be available before the new year!
They will be posting some new songs on their myspace page shortly, keep checking out for that!

okay so guys i went to a show at graceland--el corazon in 2005 i think it was..i never had heard of the look before. i was up front watching you guys..there was so much energy and excitement in your show. andrea the way you sing is so intreging. you made me drawn to you..then i talked to you after the show and you were the coolest person i ahd evr met. you wern't all big headed about yourself..i help you find your earing. then i saw you at another show (i think it was my chemical romance at the primier)and you remembered me when isaw you in the bathroom! i got your autograph-cause when you make it bigger i am gonna still have it. it means so much that you remembered me..i never ever forget that! i think you are so beatiful! you rock my world! **sam

I remember one night, The Look came to Richland, WA to play for us.
They were scheduled to play after two bands went, and unfortunately they were stuck behind a terrible band that played for hours and hours.
My boyfriend and I were getting really tired of hearing horrible music and we must have looked it, because Andrea from The Look came up to us and apologized, thanked us for waiting, and also told us that they were suppose to have been up on the stage 45 minutes ago but were still waiting.
The fact that she came up to us and apologized on behalf of The Look was just so humble.
There is not a single arrogant bone in their body and I just wanted to let them know how honored I was, and that no matter how many horrible bands who play way longer than their alotted time play before them, I will always wait for The Look, because they are just that amazing! :)
Of all the bands that I have ever gone to see in the past three years, The Look would have had to be the most enjoyable on stage.
The first show I saw was nearby my own home In Redmond, Washington. My friends dragged me along to the show with The Fall of Troy. I made it the Very front and center for the first time (and being a relatively small girl it was rough) and had a great time. For the Entire show it was amazing to be right up in front of the band. I'd never had such a great time screaming along with Andrea or really anyone for that matter, at a show. The best part was that after the show we all felt so involved and well, In it!
Even After when I went to buy a shirt it was great to be able to meet the band and say that I had a great time! Again, thanks for the amazing show. I'm going to try to make it to every next show that I can :D
So I remember the very first time I seen The Look. It was at the zone.I remember just standing there like OMG Im in love with this band..AND ever since I've been hooked.I can't ever miss a show.. The Look was the very first show I had ever been to. You guys changed my life. The Look was the reason I went to my first warped tour. Warped tour 2005 one of the greatest days of my life..I had so much fun that day. I will never forget it.Andrea is beautfil and the guys are Hot! The Look is the coolest band around. I know they are gonna make it big.

hey guys. its me francisco. i love the look. i havent had the privilage of meeting you guys but i loved your music the first time i heard it. you guys are one of the coolest bands i know and you guys are super nice. you always comment back. i downloaded your song "we are electric" and all of my friends that have heard it so far love it. so you guys are getting more fans here in california. if you guys ever come to california i will go to your concert. i know you guys are gonna have your big break and soon the whole world is gonna know about THE LOOK.

i was just looking through myspace [as usual] and bam! eric emails me telling me to take a look at his band. being the nice, and generous person that i am- i look. [ha, irronic.] that my friends was love at first sight.
having a music introduction myspace- i see alot of bands. none compare to your creative and unique style of music. i wish i could go to a live show but heck, how bout The Look just comes down to florida?
anyways- i've had the pleasure to talk to eric over myspace on several occasions, and he is the nicest guy. i only imagine what the rest of the band is like!! you all are so, very talented, and i really do hope you make it big one day.

The time that i remeber seeing you guys at your best was at a show The thee letting fourth of fire put on at a church when one of their guy's gear got stolen. The show was to halp him get new stuff so that they could actually play shows lol. I thought it was so awesome that you guys would come all the way out here to help them when they needed it. Your not only a band that has amazing music, and awesome merch. But you really care about the people who have been there supposting you from the beginning as well as the new fans. Theres no way you guys arn't going to do what you set out to do. I met my best friend at Edge fest, in 2005, the first time i saw you. And it was so funny. Because i didn't know any of the words to your songs, and i would try to sing them.... but i just looked dumb because you kept changing them up. It was pretty much amazing lol

Well, I don't know how creative this is gonna be, however, it IS filled with much love! Here's my story...
One day I was checking out Panic! At the Disco's MySpace site and there was a comment from "The Look" saying that we should all come check out their Space. So, I did... wow! When you listen to their music, it automatically makes you feel better (no matter what.) I was going through some major crap at the time and listening to this wonderful music was like a warm hug from an old friend. Oh, but it doesn't stop there... I left some comments (don't remember what - prolly about how good they are) and I got commented back (by Eric - I think) fairly quickly. It wasn't like the generic 'band' comments, they actually answer you and have a "conversation" with you. Who has that kind of time with their schedule?? So, now it felt like "The Look" was, in fact, an old friend - not just another band who lumps us all together as random 'fans.' They made me feel great!! I just have to say THANK YOU SO MUCH for lifting my spirits (and, no doubt, the spirits of many, many others) so very high!!!
The Look is a very compassionate, fun, energetic, exciting, fantabulous group of young people!!

Definitely not exactly what I remembered and expected but was a great, great show!
You were soo surprising as an acoustic band at 'Ground Zero'.
I'm definitely glad I came. It was worth feeling the youngest there for Aya's graduation.
The atmosphere was great, and I wouldn't have missed it for my life.
'Take it all Back' is such a great song, and i'm just hearing it now normally, but you all seemed to play with just as much emotion as you usually do, And that made it personal, and well, I guess more 'deep' of a song :D
It was really funny to hear the upbeat ones like that. Great, but kinda weird, I LOVED that show.
So, As soon as you post your next show, I'll be there!

I really don't know what to say, and this is probably going to come out really cheesy, but ummmmm whatever comes to my head I'll write it down whether or not it makes since!
I love y'alls band because the music is great. The songs are fun and danceable like Just how I like it, We are Electric, and This is how we shake! ((Which is still my favorite, btw ;D)) Take it all back sounds so beautiful. I absolutely love the lyrics to the songs especially this one line from Just how I like it. "I'm not perfect and I like it that way." I just really loved that line, because it's so true for all of us, and it's like "hey, I don't have to be perfect for you and everyone else, I'll live how I want too." Of course it's not like a bad living or whatever, but uhhh.... Crap. I lost my train of thought... Curse Family Guy! haha. Oh man.. oh well, next!
Eric is amazing, because he talks back to all of us, so we all have an understanding about what's up with the band and himself. I think that's very nice of him, because he doesn't have to waste his time doing so. And he teaches me/us that people in bands are regular people, even though I knew this already, he just confirms this!!
Andrea's voice is amazing! I really do envy her. I wish I could sing, but I sound so bad! Plus, she has too endure a room full of testosterone whenever she's with the guys, and that can be pretty tough sometimes. haha! j/k j/k!
I don't really know much about nick or abdon, but they really play their instruments well!
I know this was about commenting the band, but then I got into the members of the band so I had to say something about them all. Sorry, this is so long, I hope it all fits! Sorry again for the longness! Really I am, but like I said I was typing whatever came to mind...
